A headless, serverless and progressive web app for a safer BC.
Problem: Outdated technology to manage a content-heavy website.
Solution: 8wire interviewed employees, stakeholders, and customers to understand the business objectives and the digital opportunities. As the majority of users are contractors installing and operating technical systems across the province, we built a digital strategy around ‘jobs to be done’ and the technical systems Technical Safety BC supports.
We worked with Technical Safety BC to focus and optimize the content, reducing it by more than 50%. The user experience and design focused on the environments where the site was being accessed by contractors – often on a phone at a work site.
We replaced the existing platform with a modernised architecture using Contentstack and Vercel, and built an app with deep integration with existing data platforms. Technical Safety BC’s digital tools help improve safety with a lightning fast and easy to use website.
